Viviana Occhionorelli will work as Environmental Management Communication Assistant at the Southern North Sea Regional Centre of Expertise (RCE-SNS) until May 2010.  She will be involved in assisting RCE-SNS in setting up a pan-European association of RCEs.

Viviana Occhionorelli recently completed her M.Sc. in Environmental Management and Technology at Oxford Brookes University with a thesis on Environmental Justice and Environmental Impact Assessment. With a degree in Political Science from the University of Naples L’Orientale and the Humboldt University of Berlin, she also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainable Development from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine of London. She gained professional experience by working at the Italian Embassy in Tirana, the NGO Oxfam GB,  Mandat International in Geneva and the Italian NGO LVIA in Albania.

Her research interests include environmental justice and environmental inequalities, environmental impact assessment and sustainable development.
